Well I just beat Final Fantasy for the first time a few days ago(first FF game I’ve beaten.) Up until now, my attention span was apparently not capable of handling a Final Fantasy game, grinding and such. However with the magical dark art of emulation, grinding no longer poses a threat(the speed up button on vgba is fantastic.)
Anyway, I was pretty excited to face Chaos for the first time, however since I was able to super grind; he posed virtually no threat. I do regret choosing the team that Duane and Brando listed in their Final Fantasy rap. I would’ve much preferred a White Mage/Wizard to the Monk/Master.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it though, and I’m eager to continue on to the next game in the series. I plan on playing them in order of release. Fortunately I recently achieved the ability to emulate PS1 games, so I can now play up to FF IX. I’m really looking forward to IV, which is the one I’ve came closest to beating before, and VII, hopefully it lives up to the hype even though the shocking element in the story has been ruined for me.
I’ll probably post at least every game I beat, so let me have some feedback to help me improve on my next post.
